The first 5 Stars Grand Luxury Hotel in Spain with «Safe Tourism Certifified» seal
We have very good news to announce! Coinciding with the opening of the hotel and La Cabane Beach Club, we have passed a rigorous inspection last July 1st, and we are so glad to inform you that we have obtained the “Safe Tourism Certified” seal granted by the ICTE (Spanish Governmental Institute for the Spanish Touristic Quality) for the implementation of a health risk prevention system against COVID-19.
In this way, we are the first 5 stars Grand luxury hotel in Spain to get it, as well as the first hotel establishment in Malaga in getting it.
This approval conveys the concept of safe tourism and is issued after passing an exhaustive audit of the procedures and measures in the area of health and safety carried out in all the company’s facilities on a voluntary basis. It is the only official certification at national and European level promoted by the Ministry of Health.
The Institute for Spanish Touristic Quality (ICTE) is the Certification Entity for Quality Systems especially created for tourism companies that works in close collaboration with the Spanish Government in the definition of measures against Covid-19.
This approval is added to the “Q” certification of Tourist Quality of which Los Monteros is the only 5*GL Hotel in Andalucia to hold it.
